The forthcoming Enugu At A Glance event continues to gather momentum as prominent leaders across the state lend their support to the initiative aimed at showcasing the remarkable transformation taking place in Enugu State.
In a remarkable show of statesmanship and unity, former Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi, warmly received members of the Enugu At A Glance team and commended their effort in promoting the development story of the state.
During the engagement, the former governor made a touching remark that underscored his commitment to the continued progress of Enugu State. He noted that March 20th, which coincides with the date of the Enugu At A Glance event, is also his birthday. However, he expressed delight that the day would be made even more meaningful by celebrating the achievements of the current administration.
According to him, his birthday would be “complete with celebrating the achievements of my successor on the same day,” a statement that reflected his strong belief in continuity of governance and the collective progress of Enugu State.
The former governor also applauded the organizers of the initiative, particularly the leadership of Rise Up Magazine, for their commitment to documenting and projecting the state’s development narrative. The landmark event is scheduled to hold on March 20th at 5:00 PM at the International Conference Centre, Enugu. It will feature the unveiling of special magazine editions highlighting key achievements across sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, investment promotion, and economic revitalization.
